Standing on the banks of the Inn River, Rattenberg is tucked between the 10th-century fortress on the hill and the river. The medieval center of Austria’s smallest town is full of revitalized townhouses, cobbled streets, and alleyways. Candles, torches and open fires will exclusively light the lovely, historic pedestrian precinct on the four Saturdays during Advent Season.

Visit the Christmas Market at Schönbrunn Palace and tour the palace’s spectacular interior rooms. Every year some 80 exhibitors from Austria and neighboring countries create a unique atmosphere on the splendidly illuminated Parade court of Schönbrunn Palace. The exclusive products offered include traditional handicrafts, nostalgic toys and lovingly designed Christmas decorations made of glass, wood, ceramics, paper, and tin.
